If You Suffer from Aching, Swollen Legs, Leg Cramps, Fatigue or Unsightly Varicose Veins, It's a Sure Sign of Poor Leg Circulation
The blood vessels in your legs, calves and feet are the furthest extremities from your heart and the hardest area in your body to maintain healthy circulation.
When your legs lack adequate circulation, you may experience swelling and aching legs, leg cramps or leg fatigue. In addition to the uncomfortable symptoms, poor leg circulation can also cause your legs to take on an undesirable, swollen appearance which can make them look years older than you really are.
In time, poor leg circulation leads to spider or varicose veins, which are veins that have become damaged from poor circulation. Spider and varicose veins usually occur in the lower legs and feet. Varicose veins can appear beneath the surface of your skin, while spider veins will look more like webbing across the surface of your skin.
Your Age, Occupation and Nutritional Habits are Each Important Factors
Leg fatigue, swelling, leg cramps and spider and varicose veins can occur to anyone but are more problematic for women. Your job can also be a contributing factor to circulation problems. Job functions that require long periods of standing or sitting, or those that require heavy lifting can place considerable stress upon your legs, feet and veins. Excess weight can further add to your circulation problems, often causing leg circulation problems at an earlier age.
Targeted Circulatory Support to Promote Healthy Circulation in Your Legs, Calves, Ankles and Feet to Combat Swelling, Fatigue and Vein Enlargement
Like every other organ and tissue in your body, nutritional support is critical to optimum circulatory function. This is particularly true as we age because our body's ability to absorb sufficient nutrients from the foods we eat gradually diminishes as we get older.
Circulation Essentials is a blend of potent natural compounds specifically formulated to support and promote improved circulation in your legs. Our proprietary formula was developed based on studies of natural ingredients that have been shown to provide circulation, capillary and vein health benefits and to combat the natural swelling and enlargement in the veins and tissues of your legs.
Diosmin Has Been Clinically Shown to Provide Significant Benefits to Those Suffering from Leg and Vein Circulation Disorders
Circulation Essentials formula includes an important, yet little known substance called Diosmin. This unique bioflavonoid is derived from the rind of several citrus fruits and has been clinically shown to be a highly effective way to improve circulation and strengthen the veins in the legs. European women and their physicians have relied on Diosmin for more than 30 years for varicose vein treatments and circulatory problems in the legs.
 Spider Veins |
In addition
to aiding in improving existing varicose and spider vein problems, Diosmin can actually prevent varicose and spider veins.(1)
Diosmin works to help relieve pain and inflammation by specifically targeting the blood vessels in the legs. It strengthens vein and artery walls and helps prevent free radical damage that can inhibit vein health.
The results of years of scientific research and university studies show that a daily dose of 500 to 1,000mg of Diosmin can vastly improve the circulation and health of leg veins, as well as offer relief from pain, night cramps, swelling and fatigue. Diosmin is commonly used to treat restless leg syndrome and is extremely safe. Even long-term use of this highly effective nutrient seems to be well-tolerated, with no apparent side effects even from ongoing use.
In other studies of more than 5000 patients with vein disorders, Swiss researchers found the majority experienced relief from leg pain, swelling and discomfort, and many saw the swelling in their feet, ankles and legs totally disappear.
Our Comprehensive Formula Contains Eight Other Important Ingredients Known to Promote Leg Vein Health & Circulation and Relieve Achy, Tired or Swollen Legs
Vitamin C has a well-established role in the synthesis of collagen, an important structural component of blood vessels, tendons, ligaments, and bone. In addition, research has demonstrated that Vitamin C helps support healthy dilation of blood vessels which is important for normal circulation.
Pine Bark is an extract from evergreens native to the Mediterranean. Pine Bark contains high levels of special bioflavonoids called OPCs (oligomeric proanthocyanidin complexes). Similar substances are found in cranberry, bilberry, blueberry, hawthorn, and other plants.
OPCs are antioxidant chemicals that appear to have the ability to improve collagen (a type of strengthening tissue found in many parts of the body), reduce capillary leakage, and control inflammation. In Europe, OPCs are widely used to treat venous insufficiency, varicose veins, easy bruising, and hemorrhoids.
A study by M.R. Cesarone and Associates published in the September 2010 issue of "Phytomedicine" tested a standardized Pine Bark extract on patients with severe, long-term CVI. (Chronic venous insufficiency, or CVI, is a leg vein problem that causes many years of increasing pain and disability for many thousands of people, the majority of them being women.)
The study found that the extract was more effective in reducing symptoms and leaking capillaries than compression stockings, a conventional treatment for CVI.
Grape Seed Extract may help reduce the risk of bruising by increasing the strength of your capillaries and other blood vessels. Grape Seed Extract strengthens vessel walls, prevents the breakdown of blood vessels and helps protect damaged vessels from excessive leaking. It has been found useful in cosmetic and medical conditions related to varicose and spider vein treatment. The University of Maryland Medical Center cites Grape Seed as a possible alternative medicine to reduce the symptoms of CVI. Studies are needed to test the effectiveness of Grape Seed Oil on humans with CVI.
Hesperidin is classified as a flavonoid and is found in citrus rinds. It is thought that Hesperidin has the ability to improve the health of capillaries and contribute to the overall integrity of blood vessels. A deficiency of Hesperidin in the diet has been linked with abnormal capillary leakiness as well as pain in the extremities causing aches, weakness and night leg cramps. Additionally, Hesperidin and other flavonoids modulate the activity of various enzymes that positively influence normal cells, as well as malignant cells, and have noted anticancer activity. Supplemental Hesperidin may also help reduce edema or excess swelling in the legs due to fluid retention. Like other bioflavonoids, Hesperidin works best when taken with Vitamin C and other bioflavonoids.
Rutin is another important bioflavonoid known to strengthen the walls of veins and help them function better. Rutin flavonoids relieve swelling and pain due to varicose veins, the most common vein disorder. According to the University of Michigan Health System, Rutin also may be beneficial for treating chronic venous insufficiency. This condition involves poor return of blood from the feet and legs back to the heart, due to clotting and inflammation in the leg veins or an inability of the valves in leg veins to work against gravity. This results in swollen legs.
Quercetin is another bioflavonoid known to have an antibacterial effect and promote circulation. Quercetin can relieve pain in the legs, lessen bruising and reduce swelling. Quercetin has also shown promise in varicose vein treatment.
